The Abuja based philanthropist was honoured despite some controversies trailing her. She was in the news with Jim Iyke over an alleged debt issue she was dragging with the handsome actor. Some tale-bearers claimed that the there was more to the debt scandal and alleged that their matter was simply a 'love gone soar' issue.
Few months ago, she was alleged to have been put in the family way by another actor, Chidi Mokeme and allegedly gave the actor a love child.
However, she has now joined Angelina Jolie and others and will now have access to an international UN ID, customized number plate, attend seminars and conferences both in Nigeria and outside, award of a certificate among other benefits from the United Nation.
According to her, people should not set up NGOs with the aim of soliciting funds from members of the public to run the foundations. Habiba' foundation caters for the elderly and the poor and she reportedly runs it with her money.
