Another survivor of the Lagos plane crash on Thursday has succumbed to injuries after efforts to keep him alive failed.
This reduces the number of those that survived to just five, some of which are still battling for their lives in hospital.
It has been confirmed that the plane had 20 persons on board. This means that 15 of them have been confirmed dead.
The man who is the latest to die is called Samson Hassan. He had along with another survivor, Taiwo Akintunde, been kept under close watch at the highly sterilised Intensive Care Unit of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
The medical personnel’s efforts however proved futile as Hassan gave up the ghost Saturday.
Hassan is said to have been a member of staff at the Magbamawo Industrial Company (MIC) Royal Ltd.
The confirmation of his death is said to have been made by one Mrs Bolanle Okusanya-Feyita, who spoke on behalf of MIC.
