AEG Live has not been responsible for the death of Michael Jackson in 2009.
This was the decision of a jury of six men and six women who decided Wednesday in favor of the concert promoter.

Katherine Jackson had argued that AEG Live had contributed to the death of his son in 2009 and was negligent in employing Dr.Conrad Murray to care for the medical care of the singer, without information on the doctor or worrying signs indications to the health of the singer 50 years deteriorated.
The jury determined that AEG had actually hired Murray, but the doctor was not incapable or incompetent to perform the services we asked. Murray was convicted of manslaughter in 2011 for having administered a dose of Propofol, the anesthetic that led to Jackson's death.

Katherine was present when the verdict was read. The jury began deliberations Thursday after hearing testimony for nearly five months of dozen witnesses, including Jackson's mother, her son Prince ,daughter Paris (who testified via video) and his ex-wife Deborah Rowe Last Friday, the jury asked to see a dozen copies of the contract signed with AEG Murray (who, on the day of Jackson's death, had been signed by Murray), a copy of the 2009 documentary.

This Is It, including interviews and images of rehearsals for a series of concerts Jackson was preparing in London, and a DVD player. The lawyers for the Jackson family had argued that the star would affect more than a billion dollars through his series of 50 concerts "This Is It" at the O2 Arena in London, organized by AEG.

"The jury's decision completely innocent AEG Live, confirming what we know from the beginning: that the death of Michael Jackson was a horrible tragedy, the tragedy was not orchestrated by AEG Live," said the Senior lawyer of the accused, Marvin Putnam, after the verdict was read.

"There was simply no evidence showing that AEG had made a mistake," said Putnam."This verdict is a great victory for [AEG Live CEO  Randy Phillips ] in particular, who was personally sued by Jackson. "Phillips and Paul Gongaware  were excused as defendants in this case, in early September, leaving the company as the sole defendant.

"I counted Michael Jackson among my creative partners and friends," Phillips said in a press release. "We lost one of the greatest musical geniuses, but I am relieved and very grateful that the jury realizes that neither I nor anyone at AEG Live, has played a role in the tragic death of Michael .

"A spokesman for the family said that neither Katherine nor Joe Jackson  would make an immediate declaration."

"Thank you all for your support. Unfortunately, my family will never happen to turn the page # largentgagneencore AEG"  tweeted  Taj Jackson , son of Michael's brother, Tito , who was declared co-guardian of Michael's children earlier this year.
