Former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari will today formally declare his intention to contest the February presidential election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, at Eagles Square, Abuja.
This will be his fourth attempt. He contested the presidential polls in 2003, 2007 and 2011.
Although he had promised not to contest again, the APC leader said he decided to come out again because of the deteriorating state of the nation.
Mr. Buhari, a retired general, popularly called GMB, will contend with several other aspirants, including a former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, in the primary of Nigeria’s opposition party, come December.
